My Absence

I apologize for my absence. Most know that I am pregnant (30 weeks)
and have two toddler terrors ages 4 and 20 months. It is very hectic around here and having the chance to blog lately was just completely out of the question. So many appointments between us all, My oldest' therapy and getting him ready for school, my little girl going to the ER for random things and me just being pregnant is good enough for me to not wanna sit here at the computer for too long. Not from me you will not get a good one.
Twice my family and I ventured to that restaurant and twice we had HORRIBLE experiences!
The first day we went was the day after opening day. It was busy, which is to be expected. Its the new restaurant in town, everyone's is gonna wanna try it. We went there knowing this, but when you have a family of four, 2 adults and 2 young children, and are placed at a TWO PERSON table, that's a little ridiculous. The waitress took our drink order said she was off to get 2 high chairs and was never seen again. As I stood there holding my daughter waiting and watching everyone else enjoy their food, I was getting beyond pissed, to say the least. Hell the drink lady never even came around. So after 30 minutes of WAITING we decided to leave. As we were walking out front of the building i looked into the window and where we were suppose to be sitting the mysterious waitress reappeared and sat others at the same table. WTF!?! What if we were up getting food? We would have no place to sit. That was experience number 1.

Now the second time was just yesterday (2/1/2010)
We decided to give it another try. Not very many people were there this time, thankfully,
cause we were hungry. We had to ask 1 or the 8 waitresses standing at the checkout counter if someone was gonna seat us or if we needed to find our own table. We were finally seated after standing there looking foolish. We ordered our drinks and they brought us dirty Hot Tea cups, still with lipstick on one. My kids milk lid had dry soda on it, so far NOT GOOD!
We finally went to get some food. My fiance was fist then I got my kids food, then myself.
While my fiance was eating he started chewing on something hard. He spit out what was in his mouth and it appeared to be about 8 little pieces of ROCKS. He even chipped his tooth.
As I was eating I bit down on something hard myself. I picked it outta my mouth and it was ACTUALLY a freaking ROCK! It was about the size of my finger nail (pinky) ans I quickly looked through my kids food to make sure there was nothing of the sort in there food, god for bid. We told the waitress and 15 minutes later the lady who was in charge thought nothing of it and asked if it came from a certain food like she KNEW!!!! She said she would only charge us for one meal and to get new plates. My fiance was the fist to go and I sat picking through the food on my plate and decided to try a baby squid. Yeah, i pulled outta my mouth a piece of a straw that was INSIDE that particular squid. So My fiance went down to the same lady and complained to her and she says what? "Thats squid bone, all of them have it inside" BULLSHIT! I had 5 of them on my plate and not a single one of the others had that. I was so diqusted it wasnt even funny. I felt sick to my stomache and was just pissed off. We left immediately after that and I WILL NOT BE RETURNING!
So before you go to this place think about this.
Two HORRIBLE experiances.
So if you enjoy eating rocks and plastic feel free to try them, other wise I HIGHLY reccomend NOT GOING to this place!

I, like many mothers, am on the go constantly and with two kids it makes it pretty hard on potty break time, especially when you got one of your kids going through potty training. Neat Solutions has come up with some pretty great ideas for people like us, who are on the go. I got the chance to review Potty Toppers. I must say, they are cute for something you put on the toilet.
Let me explain a little because right about now you are prolly asking yourself, "Is this woman mad?" Potty Toppers are cool toilet seat covers to protect little cheeks from germs and anything wet on the toilet seat. Potty Toppers are completely water proof so no matter whats on that seat, it wont get to your kiddos bum.
The neat thing about this particular item is that it also helps kids want to learn to use the potty. The neat designs they have will catch any "trainee" attention and will be curious about it. The designs are also a cool little motivation to get your kiddo to want to try the potty. The toilet is no longer scary when your looking down at Diego from Go Diego Go, or Dora from Dora the Explorer. Maybe your son/daughter is interested in Sesame Street or The Backyardigans. Either way, the designs is there for the choosing.
My son, who is almost 3, has been on the potty training adventure for almost SIX months now. I have been having a really hard time with him. Almost as soon as I threw one of the Potty Toppers on the toilet seat, he was in the bathroom checking it out and telling me who was on it. That definitely got him interested in the potty and he isn't so skittish of the bathroom anymore. He actually takes random trips into the bathroom to see if there is a Potty Topper on the seat.
I have found this product very useful and encouraging and I believe everyone has a use for at least one of these nifty ideas.

Little Missmatched (review)

I am the kind of person who looks for the next cool thing when it comes to kids clothes. So when I came across this website, Little MissMatched, I knew I was at the right place at the right time. The clothes they have to offer are so cute. I was given the chance to review some coveralls, marvelous blue/pink, which I chose. I love them, they are so darn cute and they look so cute on my daughter. I don't like plain old clothes. I like clothes with style, fashion, and an up to date look. I also seek durability and comfort in my kids clothes. With the Little MissMatched coveralls, the material was breathable, and wasn't all scratchy and rough. They didn't seem to lose there shape like some clothes do after being warn for a while. My daughter seemed very happy wearing the coveralls. When she wears things that bother her, she does let me know with a nice yell. I think she enjoyed playing with the snaps to be honest with you. She also couldn't keep her eyes off the colors and patterns. I too was amazed when I first saw the coveralls. The colors caught my attention right away and the patterns stood out really nice.

Ragebaby (review)

If you havent noticed by now how much I absolutely LOVE cute shirts with sayings, then obviously you dont read my blog. I have done handfulls of reviews about them.
So recently I got the chance to do a review for Ragebaby.com and again, I'm in love with the sayings on the shirts. My daughter received a onesie and my son received a Tshirt and my daughter also received a baby tee. It's a little joke Tee to laugh about the additives being put into food these days, which is true, but also funny.
My Daughters onseie reads "I'm a pacifist" and my sons Tee reads "if you can read this, you're contaminating me" and the joke baby tee reads "Try it, it will put hair on your chest" which also has a picture of a bottle off to the side. I think they are all cute.
Ragebaby has a variety of boys and girls Tshirts and Onesies with many sayings.

I just got the chance to do a second review for The Trendy Tadpole. About a year or so ago, I did a review and I had gotten a shirt for my son, and recently I was thinking about how much I liked the girls stuff too. So I am mighty grateful that I was given a chance to do another for my daughter!

Baby Dipper

I recently won a Baby Dipper from Monkey Mayhem and while getting shipping arranged I asked the creator of this product to do a review for her. I love telling people about products I like/love and make recommendations to get one of their own.

The Baby Dipper is so great. It makes feeding baby VERY easy and the bowl is designed to stay put with its rubber grip on the bottom for easy on handed feeding. It is wonderfully crafted so the food in the bowl "seeps" to the lower corner and the spoon that comes with the bowl fits right in there and that leaves NO MORE scraping or tilting to get the last bite.
What I like to do is just dump the jar of baby food right in the bowl and feed my daughter that way. That makes feeding time so much easier and I dont have to fight with the jar and scrap the sides, the Baby dipper does all the work for me. With having two kids, I can use all the help I can get in making anytime easier. Those with kids can agree with me on that Im sure.

The creator of the Baby Dipper is Barbara Schantz, who like myself, is also a stay at home mother. Where I have two kiddos, she has two sets of twins. (and it's a wonder she came up with this wonderful idea?) She too had issues with the standard bowls sold at the stores. Always slipping around making feeding time hard. I think This woman deserves some sort of an award. This has got to be one of the best products I have ever used.
The funny thing about the spoon, it has a rubber grip and when Im done feeding my daughter, she likes to grab it and play with it and has become a new teether. So I have found it to be multi-purpose. How cool is that??

This has got to be one of the coolest reviews I have done so far.

A lot of people know, that I have entered many giveaways to win my very own pair of See Kai Run shoes, but it never happened. So I decided to contact them myself and explain the situation and asked to do a review. Piggy Paint (review)

Not until two days ago did I realize how hard it would be to paint my 6 month old daughters piggys and finger nails................. so I painted my own piggys. Made me feel like a little girl all over again.

I recently received a wonderful product called Piggy Paint, which is all natural nail polish. I had looked high and low for non-toxic nail polish for my daughter and found nothing (starting to become a trend for me). Until I came across this site, I thought I would never find what I was looking for. At first I had my doubts and figured it was another one of those bogus deals, but I looked over the ENTIRE site and read everything I could and it then seemed legit to me. So right away I contacted the site owner and requested a chance to do a review and the owner gladly excepted my request and promptly sent me product to review.

As soon as I got it, I basically ripped the box open with excitement. There it was, my very own NON-TOXIC nail polish. I must say it was an awesome color too. Also in that mangled box was a bottle of Piggy Paint remover, also NATURAL AS MUD, as they say. I can't tell you enough good things about both products. The nail polish has almost no odor what so ever and the remover is not harsh like the regular stuff. To be honest with you, the natural remover works A LOT better than the stinky stuff anyways, so what would you choose? I know the answer is simple for me ;)

The piggy paint is quick drying and lasts for a decent time too. However, being as it is for little ones, I dont expect it to last long on my piggys with all the wear and tear the poor things get.

I recently requested to do a review for Snugfits, and I am soooooo glad that I did.
There is not a store around my living area that carries cute onesies that say 'Daddy's Girl", "Daddy's sweetheart", "100% Daddy's Girl" NOTHING! How silly is that? I found it to be quite ridiculous myself considering how many people are having girls these days. Anyways, so I moseyed across this really cute site called Snugfits and they have THE CUTEST shirts. They even had the "Daddy's Girl" shirt I had been searching for. They have so many options for cute sayings in a wide variety of color combination. (shirts/lettering) Snugfits offers not only onesies but also toddler tees and long sleeve toddler lap shirts. Snugfits also offers; babylegs, infant hats and knit pants.

Ok, so the shirt I requested is black with pink lettering. after all, girls can't wear pink everyday. I LOVE this onesie. The material is soft to the touch and stretchy with bounce back action. What I mean by that is I can stretch the neck if need be to allow a gentle fit around the head and it doesn't stay stretched out, it goes right back to its original form, which is awesome.

I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone that they should check out what Snugfits has to offer. I guarantee there is a saying that fits every baby or toddler.
Oh yes, before I forget, my Snugfits onesie was delivered in the CUTEST little mesh bag. Which BTW, I will be keeping to reuse. It is just a great idea.

I was out of the game for a while, but I am back. I was pregnant with my sweet little princess and had her on December 27th, 2008. Since then life has gotten back to normal, well, as normal as it's gonna get I'm guessing. I am ready to start reviewing again, and can't wait to see all the things people have to offer. I have recently received a review sample of Skin MD.
My personal thoughts on this product are this:

As soon as I applied the fist application of this lotion

Trendy Tadpole shirt

Prayers for Avianna

I have never prayed so hard as I am now. An online friend of mine, Sarah, is going
through what no parent should have to. Her little baby girl, who
is 2 months old, Avianna is in critical condition at the hospital and on
life support. The doctors say she is brain dead and if they take her off life support she will pass.
There was a tragic accident at home where Sarah found the baby blue and lifeless.
Avianna and Sarah could use all the prayers in the world for a huge miracle to happen.

Another day has passed

It seems like today lasted forever.
I had my youngest cousin, Shania, over last night
and he is a pain in the butt, but she is a good kid.
She helped me out around the house a little bit.
Dominic got Nicholai's pool out and filled it up
about 6 inches and Nicholai had a freaking ball
for about a good 4 hours. (on and off)
My mom and Granny stopped by twice, once to drop
me off some hangers and the second time they stayed
for dinner. I made pasta with sauce & sausage.
The sauce I cooked up in the crockpot and added browned
fresh sausage. It was really good, like always, LOL!
I ended up feeding 9 people tonight. It was my mom,
granny, Dominic, myself, Nicholai, Shania, Cheyenne, Nick,
and Cheyenne's friend that was staying with her for the weekend.
Every bit of what I made had gotten ate, which is awesome.
After dinner Cheyenne asked me to cut her hair again, so I did.
I think It looks so nice. I cut her hair in April and she had
short hair for the first time in her life and it look so cute.
So today she wanted it different, so I tried my best to do what she
and it looks so good and she just loved it.
So after all of that, they left and I took Nicholai back outside
and he wanted to go back in his pool, so I let him go in.
I put my hand in the water and it was so nice and warm. The
sun had been hitting it for like 2 hours and so I decided to sit in
his pool with him. He was so happy I guess. He was "picking up"
water and throwing it at me and I was splashing him and we
were just having a good old time. We hung out in his pool for
about 45 minutes and I started to get prune-y and so did he, so
we got out and dried off and came inside to hang out and watch some
cartoons. So yeah, today was a long, but fun, day!

Nicholai's Birthday

In August. It doesn't seem at all possible.
But the lucky little butt gets two Birthdays
this year. YAY! He will have a small little
party at our family reunion in the beginning
of August so all the family can be there, and
then he will have his actual birthday party
here at the house. I really hope it is nice
out because he has a child size pool and that
would be really nice for the kids to be able
to play in the pool. I have a lot of things
I need to take care of for his Birthday. I
have to choose a theme, the cake, decorations,
the whole nine yards. Oh well, I have my work
cut out for me I guess.

My dr was just checking the surrounding tissue as to why

I feel like poop, actually, I didn't know I had that much poo inside of me. I have pooped like 8 times today, my butt is hurting pretty bad. I have had really bad heartburn for the last few days. I have been feeling so sick to my stomach, haven't thrown up, but I have been getting ready to. My boobs hurt soooo freaking bad, they are growing and OUCH! I am 7 weeks and 3 days pregnant, so it has only just begun, lol. The baby is about 2-3 inched long and has a really good heartbeat too. I dont the exacts, but I was watching it, and it was just a going. It was so cute. I have a Dr. appointment on the 23rd at 830am to see Dr.Kassis. Then I will find out when I am going to have my actual u/s to get some pictures. I have a feeling that this baby is going to be a girl. Already this pregnancy is SO different from when I was pregnant with Nicholai. I was barely ever nauseous, I didnt poop hardly at all and I didnt have even close to as many pains I am having now. BUT, it will all be worth it in the end. :)

Well, April is off to a rather good start I think. I have been exercising regularly, and Keeping healthy. I really hope I can lose some weight this month. I have been at a stand still lately. It has been so nasty outside and cold, but now that it is warming up, I will be out a lot more than before. Today I decided to take a walk with Nicholai and ended up going 2.2 miles!! WooooHoooo! Go me! I am so proud of myself.

Today was a pretty good day I think. Had a little cook out for dinner. mom and granny, moms friend Rick, cousin Shania, and my brother were all here. I got some cleaning done also. I did up the dishes and cleaned up the living room and the dining room, picked up nicholai's room and I am currently working on the laundry. Not to shabby. It is sooo nice outside too. It is like54 out and the sun is beautiful and so warm. I had nicholai out a while ago and he was running around and riding his roller coaster. He was having a really good time.
The girls next door, I want to choke. They are little middle school girls and they are very loud and rude. I just wanna smack um right in the head or knock their heads together. Either way, as long as they are quiet..... HAHAHA!
Dominic is laying down in bed because he decided it would be a good idea to get drunk at 100pm and then throw up. So yeah, I prolly wont see him for the rest of the evening, LOL! Oh well, maybe he will learn. I really doubt it, but what can you do? Ok, well I believe I may go kill some children now........

Today was a very long day. I ended up going back to the Dr today and got two shots. Not only for my migraines but I also have a sinus infection as well. So that was really fun. I got one shot in my left arm and the other in my butt. They both burned really badly but my butt more than my arm. I could barely walk it hurt so bad. But I had woke up this morning with a horrible migraine and it hurt so badly I was crying and could barely function and I even threw up. It was bad. I was supposed to go to my cousin Cheyenne's 13th Birthday party at 200pm, my brother was supposed to come over and do his laundry and we usually hang out while he is here, and Dominic and I were supposed to go out tonight and have a few drinks, but none of that happened. Kinda felt a little bit bad.

Jeff Dunham will be at Wal-Mart in Vestal for a signing and Dominic are going to get two dvds signed. It is on the 12th.

We are watching Alvin and the Chipmunks right now. It is a really cute movie and Nicholai really likes it. I still have to watch Sweeny Todd. It looks like a really good freaking movie, but having my migraines, I haven't watched it yet. But I will.

And thus another day has passed. It seems like it has been soooo very long. I was awoken by the sound of Dominic bitching. What a wonderful way to wake up. He went out to the car to go to work and the front passenger tire was flat. Then He went back out to change it and put on the spare, and that too was flat. YAY! So I listened to him grip and complain for about an hour until my granny showed up to take him to work. Then it was quiet again, for a minute. Nicholai got up completely about 15 minutes after Dominic had left. He was crabby, but what else is new? I got him a bowl of Kix and a sippy of milk and turned on some cartoons to watch, then he was fine. After he had his breakfast, he played for a while, destroyed my room, and then played a little while longer. Around 2ish he finally took his nap, in my bed. He helped himself to my pillow and my blanket and took a snooze. After his nap he got up and destroyed the living room, like normal. Then at 340pm Daddy got home and then I made dinner around 400pm. It is now 600pm and I am bored out of my freaking mind.........

Aright, I am totally NOT with it today. I got shit for sleep last night. I have been having a real hard time falling asleep, mainly because I am not tired. I think I finally managed to go to bed around 2am and then I had to get up at 7:15am because Nicholai woke up, which by the way, has already started being a turd and getting into stuff. I gave him a bowl of dry cereal and a sippy of milk, he sat down with them was fine for like, a second and decided he needed to dump his bowl all over my livingroom floor. Oh well, boys will be boys right?

Dominic had to go into work late because of his stupid ass boss.
He called in yesterday because his wrists were hurting him really bad,
so he went to the dr to get them checked out and his wrists are 'stressed'.
So he goes into work this morning and hands his boss the slip from the drs, to prove he was
actually there and his boss tells him that he couldnt accept it. WTF?!?!?!
He said he couldnt because it didnt say he could return to work, and then Dominic said well it
doesnt say I cant either, but his boss still said no and sent him home until he got a note from the drs office, what a P.I.T.A
So about 20 mins ago, the drs office called and told Dominic he could pick up the note, so that is where he went and then he will be going to work.
So, I am going to clean my oh so lovely mess of a house.............

Tomorrow is the first day of April. It doesn't seem possible. Where has the time gone? It seems like I have been sleeping all this time, and just now woke up. With every passing day, my son grows up more and more, and I get older and older. I often wonder to myself, is this it? Is this all I have to offer the world? What am I suppose to do with my life? I don't know. I am feeling confused.

Today was a long and for the most part boring day. It rained all day, with a little bit of sun here and there. I cleaned, like every other day. and Nicholai destroyed it right after I was done. Oh well. It is 11:23pm and I am on the stupid ass computer, and I need to make Dominic's lunch for tomorrow. YAY! :(
Well, I guess I am off......... More fun stuff to come.
